I
am new to starting the BA Professional Practice, Arts and Creative Industries course at Middlesex. Looking
forward to starting Module one! I have completed my study plan, mapped out
skype sessions and had a good browse on the UniHub page to get to grips with
things. Any advice or ideas from those in Module 2 or 3 that you think may help
please comment below. It will be greatly appreciated!
Skype Call - The Ways Ideas can be Communicated
The skype call on Monday the 2nd of December was called 'The Ways Ideas' can be Communicated', the discussion focused mainly around artefacts. We each discussed our artefact, how these related to our inquiry and the process we have been through. It was really interesting listening to other peoples ideas on how they were creating their artefact. A valuable point was raised by Dr Adesola Akinleye; things inform one another. Hi Sam
ReplyDeleteI am a returning student after taking a study interruption.
I am now back to finish module 3. I think staying on top of everything sound obvious but when your self employed is it even more important. Work can come from nowhere and if there's still lots of course work to do ... Personally after so many years in performance I am a late night person and would read blogs before bed. I found it made me think about others experience throughout the next day and helped me think about how I was going to approach the course work myself.
Hi Amanda,
DeleteThat is such an important point that I am only just coming to realize having only been self-employed for a short while now. Work just sometimes pops up and that time I was going to spend on course work has been taken. I am going to try your technique of reading through blogs before bed as I feel it will help a lot to stay with ontop of things and keep everything fresh even when work life is hectic!
